Am I eligible?
To be eligible for a logbook loan, you need to be 18 years of age, a permanent resident in the UK, and the legal owner of the vehicle. The vehicle should be free or nearly free of finance and roadworthy.

What do I need to bring?
You need to bring your vehicle’s logbook or V5, MOT certificate, proof of insurance, proof of ID, proof of residence such as recent utility bills, and proof of income such as wage slips or bank statements.

What will happen to my car?
You continue to have the full use of your vehicle for the duration of the loan. The logbook loan lender will only keep your vehicle’s logbook (V5), but you can continue driving your car for as long as you keep on paying your monthly repayments.

How much can I borrow?

What are the risks?
Logbook loans are secured against vehicles. Your vehicle may be at risk if you do not maintain your contracted payments. The lender will assess your ability to afford the repayments at the appointment to ensure you can comfortably afford the loan.
